About Zeki Learning: Zeki Learning is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit and Fair Trade certified brand, achieved by providing healthy working conditions and paying living wages for our mother artisans. We collaborate with experienced early childhood educators to design children’s toys and games rooted in traditional Montessori principles that encourage the development of essential physical and mental skills that children need to grow and succeed. Our products are lovingly made by a dedicated team of mothers who suffer from financial hardship. Each product is designed by hand using locally-sourced upcycled materials. Each Zeki Learning purchase contributes directly to the economic empowerment and financial independence of these women and their children.
The Family Storyboard allows children to tap into their imagination to create their own story about a family. The soft, handmade pieces create a tactile experience where children can learn spatial relationships, discover elements of the home, and explore family relationships.
This Storyboard comes with people, furniture, and object pieces that are commonly found in the home. Children can use these pieces to imagine and create an endless possibility of stories, allowing for long-lasting entertainment. Additionally, children will learn about the elements of a home and family, which helps them to better understand the world around them. The hands-on nature of this toy develops fine motor skills while also stimulating a child’s brain and senses. Play with this Storyboard aids in long-term cognitive development. The play mat rolls up and comes with a cotton carrying case for small pieces, making it so a child can play with this toy at home, while traveling, or in quiet places. It can be played independently, with others, or as a guided activity.
