The Flying Bugs Assembly Kit is an innovative, hands-on way for children to learn about the common flying creatures that make up an important part of many of the world’s ecosystems. Through entertaining creation and assembly, children can come to understand the shape and different body parts of a butterfly, dragonfly, grasshopper, fly, and bumblebee.

While exploring with tactile fabrics to stimulate their brain and senses, children ages 3 and up can tap into their imagination through putting the body parts of each flying bug together like a puzzle. As the child assembles the body of each bug, they will learn about each body part and their individual functions. This puzzle-like activity helps a child’s memory and language development, while also strengthening their cognitive and fine motor skills. As a child plays with this bug kit, they are learning about the anatomy of each bug and what the common body parts are among popular flying bugs. This kit opens a child’s world to understanding animal diversity and various ecosystems. It provides a fun activity for a child to play alone, with other children, or as a guided activity with an adult. The play mat rolls up and comes with a cotton carrying case for small pieces.
